At first, Xiaomi launched Mi 10 alongside its most awaited MIUI 12 update. Later, the Realme announced their new mid-range smartphones viz. Narzo 10, and Narzo 10A. Other smartphones like Vivo V19 and Honor 9X Pro were also officially launched. This year, it seems that Poco is applying a rebadging business strategy for its smartphones. In February, the company released Poco X2, which was a rebrand of Redmi K30 4G. Similar is the case of Poco F2 Pro. It is a rebrand of the Xiaomi Redmi K30 Pro that was also launched in China. So what is rebranding? It is nothing but a Marketing Business strategy where only the name of a device is changed. The specifications, hardware, everything remains the same.
Poco F2 Pro Release Date and Price
Design and Display
With a smooth glass body and a metallic frame, this device looks as well as feels premium. It sports a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. Additionally, it offers a 60Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch response rate. Furthermore, it measures 163.3 x 75.4 x 8.9 mm with a 219 grams of weight. Its notch-less display offers an uninterrupted viewing experience. Talking about the Poco F2 Pro colors, it is available in Neon Blue, Electric Purple, Cyber Grey, and Phantom White. Few more note-worthy F2 Pro specs include maximum brightness of 800 nits and a peak brightness of 1200 nits, HDR10+ support, and a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on front as well as back.
Camera
As compared to Poco F1, this device gives a better photography experience and there is no doubt about it. Do you want to buy the best camera phone? Then F2 Pro is the one for you. The camera with 8K video recording (resolution of 7680 × 4320) is the main highlight of this smartphone. It sports a quad-camera setup of a 64-megapixel primary wide lens, a 13-megapixel secondary ultrawide lens, a 5-megapixel telephoto macro lens, and a 2-megapixel of the depth sensor. On the other hand, the Poco F2 Pro features a motorized pop-up 20-megapixel selfie camera with slow motion.
Software and Performance
The F2 Pro runs the MIUI 11 based on the Android 10 operating system and Poco Launcher 2.0. Most importantly, the company has even confirmed that this handset will receive the MIUI 12 Android 11 update via OTA.
Hardware
The F2 Pro supports the Qualcomm SM8250 Snapdragon 865 processor. This chip is accompanied by UFS 3.1 storage and LPDDR5 RAM. Thus, it has no comparison when it comes to hardware. As far as the storage and RAM are concerned, it is available in two variants: Poco F2 Pro 128GB 6GB RAM and 256GB 8GB RAM. Unfortunately, it does not support expansion via a microSD card. Connectivity options on the mobile include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Super Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, Multi-function NFC, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Most importantly, it even supports 5G capability which makes it future proof against network improvements.
Battery
This Poco smartphone offers a non-removable Li-Po 4700 mAh battery with a 30W of fast charging support. Unfortunately, it does not support wireless charging.

Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro Specifications
Verdict
In conclusion, we can say that Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro disappoints us in many ways. The first disadvantage of Poco F2 Pro is its 60Hz low refresh rate display. Even the much cheaper Poco X2 gets a 120Hz refresh rate display. Secondly, its expensive price tag doesn’t suit its specifications. At such price, there are many better smartphones such as Realme X50 Pro, Vivo iQOO 3, or OnePlus 7 Pro available in the Android market. So the competition is pretty tough. Its predecessor Poco F1 was an instant hit at the time of launch. However, the F2 Pro would be a big disappointment for the Poco users who were waiting a long time for this device.
