You need a Windows computer and a standard USB cable. To avoid any interruption, charge your device to a minimum of 50%. Install Poco USB drivers on your computer. Backup your important data present on the device for safety. Moreover, install ADB and fastboot drivers on your computer.
Steps to enable USB debugging & OEM unlock
Go to your mobile Settings. Open the MI Account.
Sign in if you already have a MI account OR create a new Mi account.
Now, enable Sync and Find device options from Mi Cloud. Press Continue.
Go back to Settings and click on the About Phone. Scroll down and tap 7 times on the MIUI version. Tap on the MIUI version until a message saying, ”You are now a developer” appears. This will enable the hidden developer option. Again go to Settings, and tap on the Additional Settings section. Then, click on Developer options. Scroll down and enable the OEM Unlocking option. Furthermore, scroll down and enable the USB debugging option.
Steps to Associate Mi account to your device
For this process, make sure you have a SIM card in your phone. At first, open the Mi Unlock Status option.
This will ask for permission to view your device ID, IMEI number, etc. in a pop-up dialog. Simple click on Agree. On the next screen, click on Add account and device option.

Steps to Unlock Bootloader of Poco F2 Pro
Restart your Poco F2 Pro into Fastboot mode. For that, switch it off first. Now, press and hold the Volume Down button + Power button simultaneously. Leave both the buttons as soon as you see the fastboot logo. Keeping the phone as it is, connect it to your computer using a standard USB cable. Extract the downloaded Mi Unlock Tool on your PC. Run miflash_unlock.exe file. Click on Agree as soon as the disclaimer window appears. On the next screen, Sign-in into the Mi account. Enter the same Username and Password which you have used on your phone.
